Scott R. Santerre
Scott was born in Duluth, Minnesota and moved to Arizona in 1960. He is a partner of Santerre & Vande Krol, Ltd., which he established with Douglas Vande Krol in 1982 in Scottsdale. For over 40 years, his practice has focused on sophisticated estate planning, tax planning, probate and estate representation, business formation and transactions and employee benefits.
Scott is an AV-rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell with the highest ratings for legal ability and ethical standards. He has also been named by Southwest Super Lawyers magazine as one of the top attorneys in Arizona in 2008-2009 and 2011-2013. Only five percent of the lawyers in the state are named by Super Lawyers. Besides his passion for practicing law, Scott also enjoys playing volleyball, watching Arizona State athletics and spending time with his family. Scott has been married to his wife, Debbie, for 40 years and has two daughters and four grandchildren. Scott and Debbie are the proud parents of Laura Santerre-Lemmon (a child clinical psychologist in Denver) and Kristen Santerre Haden (an attorney in San Diego), and the proud grandparents of Morgan and Ryan Lemmon and Harper and Luke Haden.
